Turn oven on low broil.
Cut each sweet potato in half lengthwise, leaving the bottom intact.
Scoop about 1/2 cup hamburger meat in each sweet potato.
Top the hamburger meat with desired amount of salsa verde.
Top with shredded cheese, if desired.
Place under broiler for 5 minutes, then, if using cheese, turn broiler on high and cook 1-2 minutes longer to brown the cheese before removing.
Top with guacamole, sour cream, fresh chopped green onions, and cilantro, if desired.
